We are seeking to recruit two Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to our Bridgend Secondary CAMHS team, based on the Princess of Wales Hospital site which is situated 18 miles to the West of Cardiff and 20 Miles to the East of Swansea, in close proximity to the Gower Peninsula and Brecon Beacons.
The successful candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Systemic/Family Therapist, CAMHS Nurses and Specialty Doctor to provide out-patient secondary CAMHS in the Bridgend area. The service is part of a larger CAMHS Network, with various shared functions including a tier 1 on call rota and separate Consultant on call rota of approximately 1:17, you will have the opportunity to meet regularly with colleagues from across the Network for CPD activities and peer supervision.
Programmed Activities in line with sessions agreed, full time a total of up to 10 sessions: Secondary CAMHS community team.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
