An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part time (15 hours) Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist Band 8a RMN to work within the Eating Disorder outreach team (EDOS) . To provide a service on a Hub and Spoke Model based at ( Ty Llidiard Bridgend ).
The Eating Disorder Outreach Team work closely with teams across Wales improve skills and training of the existing CAMHS workforce.
The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist consultation, advice, clinical leadership and training to CAMHS staff within the local CAMHS services across South, Mid, and West Wales.
To provide specialist assessments and interventions in partnership with the local CAMHS clinicians, and provide specialist Eating Disorder training to staff to enhance knowledge and skills.
Post holder will need to have experience in working with young people with eating disorders and a good understanding of JUNIOR MARSIPAN and Current NICE Guideline.
We are looking for a highly motivated person with equiverlant expereance in present role .The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to work effectively under pressure. The post holder will be skilled in communicating at a strategic level with partners and other stakeholders and will support the Head of Nursing and Directorate Manager in negotiating service specifications and partnership agreements in relation to Eating Disorders.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post
