An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Service for a full time permanent staff nurses.
We are seeking a punctual and reliable staff member with a flexible approach, to work as part of a large multi disciplinary team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an interest in working with children, young people and their families. As a band 5 nurse responsibilities would include delivering treatment packages to children and young people in our care. The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience of adult acute is desirable.
Following induction and training, the post holder will work with young people on our acute admissions ward, high care ward and autonomously in Community settings, adhering to Treatment Packages developed by the Consultant and Senior staff nurses, in accordance with agreed protocols.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work the full shift pattern within a Multidisciplinary setting, be a good team worker with the ability to be flexible with working hours and manage their time effectively.
The post requires good liaison skills to work closely with other professionals and agencies, such as Social Services, Educational Departments and the Voluntary Sector.
There will be an Induction together with ongoing training and supervision. A Mentor will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
