An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered mental health nurse with CAMHS experience to work as part of the Community Team based at St David's Hospital, Cardiff. The service will be repatriating to the Community Child Health Directorate in Cardiff and Vale UHB in April 2019.  Terms and conditions of the post will be unchanged. Flexible working hours can be negotiated. 

The post holder will assess, plan and implement care and treatment for children, young people and their families presenting with complex mental health disorders within the framework of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010 and perform the role of care co-ordinator where appropriate.

The post holder will be able to work autonomously, will have developed excellent therapeutic and communication skills with a commitment to team working.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
