Cwm Taf University Health Board is looking to recruit 1 qualified Band 5 Nurse to work as part of the Coronary Care Unit in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse with experience in the medical setting. The successful candidate will ideally possess sound clinical and theoretical knowledge and experience in general medical nursing and cardiology nursing, however candidates with a genuine interest in Cardiac nursing with limited experience will also be considered.

The candidate must be able to work as part of a team, be a good communicator and ensure the highest standard of patient care, which reflects the quality standards and mission of the University Health Board.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge by nursing patients with acute medical/respiratory conditions. You will be supported during your orientation and development. 

The post is full time, rotational between day and night duty. There will also be the opportunity to rotate to the Cardiac Catheter lab/ Cardiac Day unit.   

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
