Cwm Taf University Health Board has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support to offer the role of Macmillan specialist oncology Clinical nurse in colorectal cancer (Band 7).
Working with the Colorectal team, you will initiate and support service development and improve patient experience. You will be responsible for shaping the service to ensure our patients have the best possible experience and that our care is in line with the ‘Cancer Delivery plan’. Our patients are at the heart of what we do, you will be instrumental in gaining their feedback and using this to shape the service, along with regular audits. Based north of Cardiff we are lucky to have excellent road networks and easy access across the whole Health Board.
You would be joining a Health Board whose philosophy ‘Cwm Taf Cares’ is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to the health, wellbeing and development of our staff is recognised with the highly coveted Platinum Corporate Health Standard. The post holder will work within the colorectal MDT and with colleagues from other site specialist teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential to this role.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
