We are looking for registered nurses to join Ward 8, a surgical ward, in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to have an interest in the management and care of surgical patients with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Staff will be required to be well organised and have time good time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative with high standards.
There will be opportunities for internal development as the University Health Board has a dedicated training and development department offering a wide range of in house courses. We also have close links with the University of Glamorgan to support your ongoing professional development which you will be required to demonstrate as part of revalidation.
Informal visits are encouraged.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
