The Medicines Management directorate has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Pharmacist to join our team at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
In this stimulating role you will build on your previous experience, developing greater autonomy and responsibility whilst providing a clinical pharmacy service to a range of specialities including Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Acute Medicine, and Mental Health (depending on experience).
You will work closely with and be supported by Clinical Lead Pharmacists to continue your development in pharmacy practice. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The directorate is forward thinking and innovative, having an integrated approach to Primary and Secondary Care management of medicines. The hospital site has automated pharmacy systems, comprehensive Medicines Management services and a fully implemented electronic discharge system. Pharmacists led clinics are well established and Pharmacists are valued members of clinical multidisciplinary teams in both Primary and Secondary Care.
