The opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Health Care Assistant to join our nursing team in the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, Mental Health Unit, Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
The PICU is a 6 bedded intensive care in-patient ward, and is part of our Adult Acute Mental Health Service. Our client group is predominantly adults aged 18-65 , residing in the Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taf area.
This is an area of psychiatry which can be both mentally and physically challenging on times, and therefore it is imperative that you have a genuine interest and desire to work within this field.
We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of an innovative and dynamic team with a kind, caring and compassionate approach towards others. Also someone with a desire to develop within their role.
Flexibility in approach to work and an excellent work ethic are essential requirement for this job.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
