INTERNAL TO CWM TAF HEALTH BOARD
We are recruiting 3 permanent posts and 1 fixed term contract post for 6 months.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as part of our multi- disciplinary Mental Health Liaison Team. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to a 7 day a week provision of a DGH Liaison Service for patients within a general hospital experiencing co-occurring mental health and physical health problems.
The post holder will need to hold a First Level professional qualification in mental health/learning disability nursing and have excellent clinical knowledge and experience of Mental Health Care.
Good communication, listening and organisational skills are essential along with clinical assessment and formulation skills. You will also need to be able to work as a member of a team in a challenging and changeable environment and have excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
You will need to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and awareness of current clinical practice and have sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures, the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Measures
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and be able to work both as an individual and as a member of a team, always acting in a professional manner.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
