An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Speciality Doctor to join our ENT Service at Cwm Taf University Health Board (UHB).
The successful candidate will join the existing ENT team providing full services on two sites within the UHB at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant, and Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil. Outpatient clinics inpatient and day case surgery take place on both sites, daily, Monday to Friday. Outpatient services are also provided within the UHB at Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda and Ysbyty Cwm Cynon Hospital near Mountain Ash.
On call cover is provided at both of the main hospitals by separate teams of middle grade and junior doctors.
Cwm Taf is situated adjacent to the picturesque Brecon Beacons National Park.The area offers excellent opportunities for many outdoor pursuits including hill walking, mountain biking, mountaineering and various water-sports. Only 20 miles away is Cardiff; a vibrant, cosmopolitan city offering a wide variety of bars, restaurants, concert venues, theatres, art galleries as well as several shopping centres.
