Applications are invited for a ST Las Higher ( SPR) Doctor in General Surgery, Fixed Term from November 2018- 5 February 2019, the job will be a job share and the post holder will be required to work 2 days a week.
The successful candidate will join the existing General Surgical Department at Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The post will have a general surgical emergency ‘on call’ commitment on a pro rata basis.
This post will join the team of Middle Grade Doctors responsible for the provision of general surgical services to the University Health Board in Cwm Taf. The post will be based at Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantristant, but may also be required to undertake sessions across other sites within the organisation.
The post will be required to share with Middle Grade Colleagues the responsibility of providing General Surgical outpatient and inpatient care for the local population and in doing so foster excellent working relationships within and outside the General Surgical Department.
