Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care? Do you have the knowledge and skills to provide care across the whole patient pathway? Could you help play a pivotal role in the coordination of service provision to Skin Cancer patients in Cwm Taf University Health Board? The ideal candidate will have significant experience in oncology and / or dermatology nursing gained through working in a specialist or senior clinical nursing role. The post holder will be the Key Worker for patients with this diagnosis and will be required to provide a complete nurse led service within the parameters of the Key Worker role.
Our patients are at the heart of what we do, you will be instrumental in gaining their feedback and using this to shape the service, along with regular audits. You will be responsible for shaping the service to ensure our patients have the best possible experience and that our care is in line with the ‘Cancer Delivery plan’. As a Macmillan professional you will have access to all of the training and development that Macmillan offer.
We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate your passion and commitment to the provision of high quality, patient centred care. You will be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team through excellent communication and organisational skills. You must be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and drive for achieving and sustaining high clinical standards along with the ability to work effectively in a Nurse Specialist role through being a credible role model.
The successful candidate will be required to travel between sites across the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
