An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen to join the acute dietetic team at Prince Charles Hospital until 31st March 2019 as a Band 7 Acute clinical team lead. The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting the acute dietitians to continue to deliver excellent patient care at Prince Charles Hospital. This a great opportunity to extend both clinical and key leadership skills and knowledge.
Due to the fixed-term duration of the post and if applying for a secondment to your current role, please ensure you have agreement from your current line manager before applying.
The post holder will be the site lead for acute nutrition support and duties will include both complex medical and surgical patients, and those receiving critical care. They will take responsibility for delivery of highly specialist acute nutrition support services, including oral, enteral and parenteral feeding and input to the development of associated clinical policies and procedures. The post holder will also deliver the specialist dietetic intervention for patients within the University Health Board Upper GI service as part of a MDT. As a senior member of the Dietetic team this post will provide the opportunity to lead and develop junior staff within the Dietetic service.
The department of Nutrition & Dietetics has an excellent reputation for delivering innovative and high quality patient care throughout the Health Board. The department encourages and supports continued learning and development to grow a resilient and dynamic dietetic workforce.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
