We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic qualified Orthopaedic Practitioner to join our small but friendly team. Our current team consist of 2 Orthopaedic Practitioners, 7 qualified Nurses and 3 HCSW’s.
There are 8 Orthopaedic Consultants who undertake both daily fracture clinics and elective Orthopaedic clinics. This includes specialisations in joint revision, acute knee trauma, shoulder surgery, foot/ankle surgery as well as more general Orthopaedic conditions.
The department facilitates daily dressing clinics for suture removal and wound care including PICO/Vac dressings and we work closely with Tissue Viability service.
There are additional specialized clinics, such a hand clinic, a weekly CTEV (talipes) clinic and a weekly Diabetic Multidisciplinary. The department works directly within a multidisciplinary team including ESP Physiotherapist, Podiatrist and Occupational Therapy.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
