An exciting and challenging secondment opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to undertake the role of a Band 7-ward manager who has responsibility for the speciality Respiratory care
The successful candidate will be expected to lead a team of nurses within an acute medical clinical environment.
The suitable individual must have post registration experience at Band 6 within the acute medical setting.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills required, as well as leadership and organisational skills. Negotiation and mediation skills are also necessary along with the ability to multi-task.
Evidence of continuing professional development is required and you must have a commitment to teaching.
You will possess:
You will be supported during your orientation and development. Ongoing support will be provided through clinical supervision, team meetings and development days. You can expect to have regular appraisals and a personal development plan. You will have access to further study and opportunities to expand your role in line with service development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
