The opportunity has arisen to join a team of experienced nurses caring for both acute and elective surgical/ / trauma cases within the Acute Care Division. You will be responsible for the Nursing assessment and care of all surgical patients requiring pre and post operative care, admitted to the University Health Board. Your role will involve managing the care of patients undergoing a variety of procedures, involving both local and general anaesthetic

You will be supported during your orientation and development. Ongoing support will be provided through team meetings and development days. You can expect to have regular appraisals and a personal development plan.

You will have access to further study and opportunities to expand your role in line with service development.

Consideration will be given to candidates who wish to job-share.

All posts are rotational between day and night shifts

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
