We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified nurse to join our small but friendly team.

We are a team of 7 qualified nurses, 1 orthopaedic practitioner and 4 HCSW’s. We have 8 orthopaedic consultants who run daily fracture clinics and elective orthopaedic clinics. These include specializations in joint revision, acute knee trauma, shoulder surgery, foot/ankle surgery as well as more general orthopaedic conditions. We also have a hand clinic and work directly with the multidisciplinary team including an ESP Physiotherapist & Podiatrist as well as Occupational Therapy and have a CTEV (talipes) clinic for babies and young children.

There are also dressing clinics twice daily for suture removal and wound care including PICO/vac dressings and we work closely with Tissue Viability service.
A large part of our work involves casting and the successful candidate would be expected to undergo training in this area if not already a holder of the British Casting Certificate.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
