Do you have a passion for community hospital nursing and are looking to develop your knowledge and skills within this field. If so, we currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced nurse to lead a team in Ysbyty Cwm Cynon, where free car parking is available.
The teams within the Community Hospital support the acute service, which allows for discharge planning. We work closely with other organisations and are continuously looking to develop innovative, integrated and comprehensive healthcare services that support our patients. The work is varied and requires a good range of clinical skills and offers a degree of autonomy within a supportive and friendly environment.
The ideal candidate will have interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible approach to work. A commitment to delivering high standards of patient focused care is an essential requirement of the post. You will be a vital part of the ward team, and have the ability to demonstrate organisational and leadership skills. You will be required to demonstrate professional attributes, including diversity, dealing with change and be able to work autonomously and effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
You will also be supported with your own professional development and will have the opportunity to become involved with many exciting projects working within the Community and Primary Care settings. You will be supported in your role by the Senior Nurse and the ward managers.
