An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales' Quality Assurance Improvement Service (QAIS), part of the National Collaborative Commissioning Unit.
The QAIS has been successful with it's bid to the Welsh Governments Mental Health Transformational fund. The bid is for funding of a senior practitioner to manage the bespoke programmes of work requested by a number of Health Boards in Wales.
The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing each individual programme of work, using clinical expertise to plan and undertake Individual Progress Reviews of citizens within Mental Health and Learning Disability hospital and care home placements. The post holder will also be responsible for collating all information from each programme of work and contributing to reports which will be fed back to each organisation that has requested a programme of work. There will also be some cross cover with the senior practitioner responsible for team management within the QAIS.
The post holder will be employed on a secondment/fixed term basis for an initial 12 month period.
