THIS POST IS A FIXED TERM /SECONDMENT CONTRACT FOR 2 YEARS DUE TO FUNDING.

The NHS Wales Quality Assurance Improvement Team (QAIT) is the operational arm of the NHS Wales National Collaborative Commissioning Unit (NCCU). The QAIT are responsible for the performance management of the 2 National Framework Agreements for Adult and CAMHS Mental Health & Learning Disability Hospitals as well as the National Framework Agreement for Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Care Homes. 

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen within the National Collaborative Commissioning Unit's Quality Assurance Improvement Team. The QAIT have recently been successful in applying for additional funding for 1 WTE clinical posts via an Invest to Save bid to Welsh Government. The successful bid has allowed the QAIT to expand the team via a 2 year Fixed term/secondment opportunity.

The Postholder will join the current clinical team in reviewing all providers that currently provide services as part of the three National Framework Agreements in order to provide assurance to NHS Wales and Local Authority Commissioners that services maintain an agreed standard of care and safety.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
