An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced mental health nurse to join an established Outreach and Recovery Community Mental Health service. The position of Team Leader affords the opportunity to practice enhanced clinical and managerial leadership skills.
The Outreach and Recovery Team (ORT) is the community function function of the Rehabilitation services in the Mental Health Directorate and works closely with colleagues in the Inpatient and extended Community Mental Health services in Cwm Taf Health Board.
ORT provides intensive community interventions as part of a fully functional multidisciplinary team over 7 days a week for people with long term complex mental health needs. The service provides a wide range of therapeutic interventions, driven by individual need and delivered in flexible and responsive manner.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate suitable experience of working with people with complex mental health needs in multidisciplinary settings. They will have excellent knowledge of whole team approaches to caseload management and be able to evidence the application of clinical leadership skills.
