An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, and enthusiastic person to join the Mental Health Directorate to take a lead role in managing the commissioned framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care. Key to this role will be service development and redesign based on a needs assessment and analysis of Mental Health & Learning Disability (MH&LD) Continuing Healthcare and commissioned placements provision.
You will be working with a dedicated team who are continually evaluating and improving commissioned services to ensure quality services are provided for our patients.
This is a high profile role that will work closely with planning and commissioning teams in the Health Board and with partners to ensure ambitious service models that ensure care and support is recovery focused and are personalised to meet individual needs.
The post holder will have direct accountability to Head of Nursing and professional support from the Lead Nurse for Commissioning initially pending a review of management team roles as part of a population boundary change that takes effect on 1st April 2019.
You will be supported by the Directorate Team to ensure the delivery of quality, evidence based commissioned services. We offer excellent training facilities and development opportunities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
