Deputy Head of Nursing 8b Advert
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed nurse to undertake the role of Deputy Head of Nursing. This is a pivotal role in our Senior Management structure to drive forward innovative service change in partnership with the Head of Nursing.
The post holder is expected to be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a wide knowledge of community services. You will work in collaboration a dynamic team of Senior Nurses, Local Authority partners and the 3rd sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual with inspirational leadership skills and an appetite for developing staff, service redesign and delivery of safe and excellent patient care through a population health lens. The post holder will work with the senior management team, providing senior advice, support and strategic leadership, along with professional challenge. Working closely with the Head of Nursing the successful candidate will represent nursing at both a directorate, UHB and national level and join an ambitious, high performing team.
You will have had demonstrable success in a management and a clinical role and established your credibility with multiple stakeholders. Most of all, you will be able to motivate and engage others to ensure that the services we provide supports the UHB values, as well as having a pioneering approach that is not afraid to challenge convention and traditional ways of working.
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable
