An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for someone who would like to develop in a busy, friendly team, where your skills and ideas are valued and your professional development is supported. We are looking to recruit into a 30 hour hour post a band 5 registered mental health nurse on a permanent contract on the acute mental health admissions ward.

If you want to be part of the team on the admissions ward you will need to demonstrate an understanding of this service user group, with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for caring for people with mental health issues. It would be advantageous to have an understanding and knowledge of therapeutic approaches that work in such a setting and the skills to take charge of the ward when required.

This is a real opportunity to become part of a cohesive, supportive and highly functioning team. You will take a key role in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
